              Fonds consists of a photo album containing colour photographs of approximately 25 different passenger vessels, a Canadian Pacific passenger list for voyage of SS Princess Louise sailing from Vancouver to Skagway 25 June 1960, 3 postcards with photographs of passenger vessels, and two photo clippings.

              Fonds consists of an issue of the "Dawson Daily News" newspaper from Thursday, 7 November 1918. The top headline reads "Northland's Greatest Disaster, Foundering of S.S. Sophia Oct. 25, With all on Board". The article contains an account of the accident and a list of everyone who was lost.

              Fonds also includes a postcard addressed to Mr. William MacMillan in Dawson, Yukon, sent by A. Steward, from Skagway on 23rd October 1918. The postcard reads "Very enjoyable trip. Leaving tonight on Sophia. Regards and good luck to Mrs. [??] your wife + self. 'Cheer oh'". The postcard was sent before leaving Skagway, which wrecked that night.

              Fonds consists of photographs, photographs cut out of newspapers and magazines, a continuous certificate of discharge, a certificate as fourth class engineer, an identity certificate, and assorted correspondence related to the service of Floyd Norman Vangen dating from 1940 to 1949.

              Also includes a framed certificate of competency as second class engineer dated 1956 and, taped to the reverse side of the frame, a certificate of competency as third class engineer dated 1952.

              Also includes a souvenir photobook of travel from Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Skagway, Alaska, assorted black and white photographs, unidentified but probably also of the NorthWest coast, and several postcards.
