Fonds consists of assorted ephemera from the Canadian Pacific Steamship Line Empress of Japan, ca. 1938. Includes Vol. VIII, no. 2 of the "Pacific Empress" newspaper, printed and published daily aboard Canadian Pacific Steamships, an RMS Empress of Japan passenger list for voyage from Vancouver and Victoria to Honolulu departing 25 June 1938, and twelve Empress of Japan menus.

Fonds consists of cards, envelopes, and correspondence regarding Island Tug & Barge, Point Ellice Shipyard Limited, Seaspan Internation Limited, and Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Also includes, Island Tug & Barge annual reports and accounts from 1955, 1956, and 1960, a licence to use a radio issued by the Department of Transport to Island Tug & Barge, a pad of blank Young & Gore Tugboats Limited statement sheets, a pad of blank Island Tug & Barge Limited time slips, and loading specifications for log barges.

Also includes a Workmen's Compensation Board notice, 3 January 1957 and a collection of tickets for the Island Tug & Barge Christmas Dance held 14 December 1962.

Fonds consists of ship's plans of SS Princess Royal, 1907.

Also includes photographs of a variety of vessels including HM Ships, the Empress line, Tugs, Canadian Coast Guard, HMC Ships and Steamships.

Also includes an oil painting of a muzzle heading rifle gun and crew shown schematically on shipboard with gun rigged and ready to fire, painted by Anthony Clarke.

Fonds consists of a December 1907 White Star Line timetable for sailings from Liverpool to various ports, and a small leather bound book containing White Star Line general information, tide tables, etc., dated 1908.

Also includes Canadian Pacific Railway British Columbia Coast Steamship Service and Princess Line steamship service memorabilia including a dinner menu dated 29 May 1939, informational pamphlets for TEV Princess Marguerite and TEV Princess Patricia, and an Alaska Daily Bulletin.

Fonds consists of 4 log books:

1. Journey and Aircraft Log Book for CF-ASV Detroit Sea Rover E-2 Flying Boat dating from 22 May 1933 to 13 September 1935,
2. Engine Log Book for Curtis Challenger and CF-ASV Detroit Sea Rover Flying Boat dating from 3 August 1933 to 20 September 1935. In a pouch in the inside back cover is an Eclips instruction book no. 19,
3. Aircraft log book dating to 1932,
4. Engine log book dating to 1932.

Fonds also includes two copies of a letter from J.N. McDonald, service division, Wright Aeronautical Corporation, U.S.A. to Mr. Martin Braten dated 5 October 1945, a challenger engine characteristics sheet, and a performance chart. These are all contained in an envelope from Wright Aeronautical Corporation sent to Mr. Braten via air mail.

Fonds consists of B.C. Ferries ephemera collected by travellers between 1963 and 1985.
