Fonds consists of 4 log books:
- Journey and Aircraft Log Book for CF-ASV Detroit Sea Rover E-2 Flying Boat dating from 22 May 1933 to 13 September 1935,
- Engine Log Book for Curtis Challenger and CF-ASV Detroit Sea Rover Flying Boat dating from 3 August 1933 to 20 September 1935. In a pouch in the inside back cover is an Eclips instruction book no. 19,
- Aircraft log book dating to 1932,
- Engine log book dating to 1932.
Fonds also includes two copies of a letter from J.N. McDonald, service division, Wright Aeronautical Corporation, U.S.A. to Mr. Martin Braten dated 5 October 1945, a challenger engine characteristics sheet, and a performance chart. These are all contained in an envelope from Wright Aeronautical Corporation sent to Mr. Braten via air mail.
