McDonald, service division, Wright Aeronautical Corporation, U.S.A. to Mr. Martin Braten dated 5 October 1945, a challenger engine characteristics sheet, and a performance chart. These are all contained in an envelope from Wright Aeronautical Corporation sent to Mr. Braten via air mail.

Fonds consists of certificates for Charles Philip Smith for the Dominion-provincial war emergency training programme for courses in shipwright and blue print reading at Yarrows Limited school in 1942, a newspaper clipping of a photograph of picket lines at Yarrows, and a copy of a photograph of Charles Philip Smith in 1942.

Fonds consists of principal dimension sheets for ships built by Barrow Shipbuilding Company dating from 1883 to 1886. These plans are the work of James S. Clark, naval architect, born in the U.K. who worked for Barrow Shipbuilding, Mitsukiski Shipbuilding (Japan), and finally Victoria Machinery Depot.
