              Fonds consists of miscellaneous papers and photos relating to the work of George Phillips at HMC Dockyard, Esquimalt naval stores, his service during World War I, and arctic expeditions.

              Fonds includes two Department of Naval Services inspection reports for HMC Dockyards, Halifax and Esquimalt prepared by George Phillips and 11 Department of Naval Services folders containing documents relating to the operation of the naval stores dating from 1917-1922. as well as photocopies of correspondence between George Phillips, V. Stefansson, Mrs. R.M. Anderson, Mrs. Murray, and G.J. Desbarats dating from 1913 to 1915.

              Fonds also includes miscellaneous ephemeral related to the Royal Canadian Navy including two issues of "The Naval Volunteer" Magazine dating to December 1915 and January 1916, a Royal Naval Club, Esquimalt account book dating from October 1896 to 31 October 1911, a small painting of HMS Shearwater c. 1911, a pencil drawing of a fireplace with specs c. 1931, a handwritten letter in envelope dated 1912, and a Seattle press club visitor's card for Mr. G. Phillips.

              Also includes a small booklet containing information about Canadian Pacific Steamships and a passenger list for the Empress of Scotland sailing from Quebec to Cherbourg and Southampton Wednesday 18 July 1928 as well as a diner menu for Tuesday 24 July 1928 and a lunch menu for Wednesday 25 July 1928. The menus are postcards on the reverse and were collected as souvenirs of a voyage taken by Miss J. Phillips.

              Fonds consists of a small leather diary consisting of handwritten accounts of the vessel Herman which was used to service Race Rocks Lighthouse from 1871 to 1875. Two handwritten notes are slid into a pouch at the front, one dated 1843.

              Fonds consists of the personal and professional papers of Frederick MacQueen including correspondence, an apprenticeship indenture certificate dated 1932, an Argenine immigration regulations booklet dated 1935, a street map of London, a Kodak film wallet containing negatives and 50 photographs dating to the 1930s?, a small leather wallet containing an identification card, small address book, a Canadian passport, a small leather diary, and a continuous certificate of discharge.

              Fonds consists of a journal and remark book kept by engineering lieutenant F.E.P. Haigh on HMS Warspite during the period of 28 March 1899 to 11 June 1902, including clippings, photos, and memorabilia.

              Also includes a handwritten manuscript for the Christmas Pantomime "Robinson Crusoe or The Tail of a Treasure" performed at the Theatre Royal, Naval Yard, Esquimalt, and written and produced bu the gunroom officers of HMS Warspite.

              Fonds consists of a journal containing sproting notes on the pacific station by Lieutenant C.T. Hodgson, Royal Navy, HMCS Shearwater c. 1902-1905.

              These are notes compiled by the writer for the benefit of his fellow officers. They are contained in a 'Torpedo Log & Progress Book'. At some later date the book was used as a scrap book and has a great number of pictures pasted into it, some covering portions of Hodgson's work.

              Three continuous certificates of discharge booklets of Clarence J. Bonner, no. 947895 for service 1 May 1918 until 15 June 1944, listing names of ports and dates of discharge. Slipped inside the back of the first book is a certificate issued by the general register and record office of shipping and seamen dated 15 January 1919, listing the vessels on which C. Bonner served from 1916 to 1918.

              Also includes a certificate of competency first class engineer (steamship) for Clarence J. Bonner no. 60423 dated 10 September 1924 and a photocopy of a scroll/monument awarded to Clarence J. Bonner by Canadian Pacific Railway Company for his service during World War I.
