              Fonds consists of a DVD titled "Freedom of Aberfeldy", a recruiting film made by the U.K. Ministry of Information in 1941 featuring three servicemen, a Canadian, an Australian, and a New Zealander in Scotland while in service during WWII. The Canadian featured in the video was named Gordon Bolin and he died as a result of HMCS Teme being torpedoed by a German U-boat in 1945.

              Also includes two naval cartoons that came from the collection of Captain Chicken, R.C.N. from his 1960 50th anniversary Royal Canadian Navy file. They are hand drawn in ink and pencil on mat board.

              Fonds consists of a folder containing correspondence between the Stutzpunktleiter (base action leader) of the Nazi Party and the Landesleiter (country director) of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) in San Jose, Costa Rica regarding arrangements of the association known as Kraft durch Freude (Strength Through Joy) in the German Merchantman Weser dating from 1939 to 1940, entirely in German.

              And, a folder containing general correspondence of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). Consists primarily of correspondence related to the M/V Weser between the NSDAP and the Stutzpunkleiter (base action leader) of the Nazi Party dating from 1937 to 1939. Documents are all in German except one crew list which is in Spanish.

              The fonds consists of records retrieved and acquired by John Clarkson. The series of ship plans were acquired while he served as the Nautical Inspector for Transport Canada. These would have been used to help with the inspection of the ships. The correspondence series was retrieved by John Clarkson while he served as the marine examiner and surveyor in Victoria. The correspondence was originally from the Steamship Inspectors Office and contains different forms of correspondence regarding the surveys and inspections of ship that were requisitioned for the second world war before and after. These pertain to the inspection of different vessels that were active along the west coast.
              The fonds is arranged into two series:

              2. Correspondence-textual records
