Fonds consists of written accounts of the sinking of TEV Princess Marguerite. One, photocopied from a newspaper, the other, a typewritten account from Hugh J. Tumilty, fifth engineer on the Princess Marguerite from September 1940 to 17 August 1942 when she was torpedoed. This account was sent to Mr. Chris Horn in 1985.

Mason, James L.Fonds consists of three black and white photographs, one of which is of RMS Colburn, and a newspaper clipping with an image of Captain J.H. Hubley, O.B.E. who was a member of the Canadian Merchant Marines, and who guided his ship, RMS Colburn, through the evacuations of Penang and Singapore under constant attack.
Hubley, Captain J.H.The fonds consists of records retrieved and acquired by John Clarkson. The series of ship plans were acquired while he served as the Nautical Inspector for Transport Canada. These would have been used to help with the inspection of the ships. The correspondence series was retrieved by John Clarkson while he served as the marine examiner and surveyor in Victoria. The correspondence was originally from the Steamship Inspectors Office and contains different forms of correspondence regarding the surveys and inspections of ship that were requisitioned for the second world war before and after. These pertain to the inspection of different vessels that were active along the west coast.

Fonds consists of documents related to the WWII service of Lt. John M. Leeming, RCNVR including his identification card, correspondence, programme from the Royal Navy Presents "Pacific Show Boat", a report on certain incidents which occurred on board HMCS Athabaskan, Cresent, and Magnificent, and a booklet titled "Back to Civil Life".
