George R. MacFarlane's collection consists of documents including notes, certificates of service, biographical information, medical records, records of examinations, reports, Canadian Forces Base, Esquimalt constitutions and by-laws, maps, charts, and correspondence dating from 1946 to the 1970s. Also includes identity cards and a war service badge dated 1998.

Also includes a booklet titled "Notes on Court Martial Procedure" published by the office of the deputy judge advocate with an 1956 HMCS Stettler stamp and three copies of a form titled "Particulars Respecting Candidate for Acting Sub-Lieutenant", revised November, 1933. Form has not been filled out.

John MacFarlane's collection consists of documents, exercise books, photographs, and memorabilia primarily related to John MacFarlane's time as a naval cadet in the 1960s including correspondence, naval messages, cards and invitations, receipts, leave request and authorization forms, notebooks, and general training documents.
