And, a folder containing general correspondence of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). Consists primarily of correspondence related to the M/V Weser between the NSDAP and the Stutzpunkleiter (base action leader) of the Nazi Party dating from 1937 to 1939. Also includes documents and correspondence relating to his his World War I service including newspaper clippings, and documents specifically relating to his time as a prisoner of war in the Karlsruhe POW camp in Germany in 1918.
