Documents are related to changes being made to meal checks, the issue of shortages sustained by cashiers and complaints and problems aboard SS Nanaimo, SS Princess Elizabeth, SS Princess Joan, and TEV Princess Marguerite.
Also includes a folder containing general correspondence, reports, and financial statements regarding Canadian Pacific British Railway Company Steamship service and Union Steamships Limited relating to the 1954 voyages of SS Yukon Princess and SS Cassiar.
Fonds consists of an envelope with a drawing of Captain Cook sent via Paquebot Mail from the Cook Passage, Nootka Sound, Vancouver Island, to the curator of "The Museum", Victoria, BC. Also includes a letter describing the meaning of the envelope, and a one page history of Paquebot mail, dated September 1978.
