HMCS Malahat (establishment)Fonds consists of a collection of engine room registers from HMCS Patrician dating from 1920 to 1927. Each book consists of daily entries signed by the engineer officer, covering approximately three months. The books appear to of Royal Navy or Imperial origin most recently re-issued in December 1916 intended for “Torpedo Boats, Torpedo Boat Destroyers, and Special Ships” and the printed instructions in front are identified as issued by the Department of the Naval Service 1916. Each book also includes pages at the front for recording the names of the engineering complement and pages at the back for recording boiler examinations, repairs, etc.

HMCS Patrician (ship)Fonds consists of a journal of handwritten minutes of meetings held by Shift co. HMCS Rainbow to consider proposals for pay changes, dating from 8 - 19 May 1919.
Also includes a coin book/account ledger, from HMCS Rainbow dating from 31 January 1917 to 30 April 1920. The title on the front of the book states that the book is for HMCS Shearwater, but the Shearwater is not expressly mentioned in the book.
Fonds consists of rough deck logs for the Barque S.F. Tolmie dating from 1923 to 1924 and a Department of National Defense Naval Service list of all vessels in commission dated 11 August 1941.

Rayner, Rear-Admiral H.S.Fonds consists of written accounts of the sinking of TEV Princess Marguerite. One, photocopied from a newspaper, the other, a typewritten account from Hugh J. Tumilty, fifth engineer on the Princess Marguerite from September 1940 to 17 August 1942 when she was torpedoed. This account was sent to Mr. Chris Horn in 1985.
