Fonds consists of a collection of engine room registers from HMCS Patrician dating from 1920 to 1927. Each book consists of daily entries signed by the engineer officer, covering approximately three months. The books appear to of Royal Navy or Imperial origin most recently re-issued in December 1916 intended for “Torpedo Boats, Torpedo Boat Destroyers, and Special Ships” and the printed instructions in front are identified as issued by the Department of the Naval Service 1916. Each book also includes pages at the front for recording the names of the engineering complement and pages at the back for recording boiler examinations, repairs, etc.

HMCS Patrician (ship)Fonds consists of miscellaneous papers and photos relating to the work of George Phillips at HMC Dockyard, Esquimalt naval stores, his service during World War I, and arctic expeditions.
Fonds includes two Department of Naval Services inspection reports for HMC Dockyards, Halifax and Esquimalt prepared by George Phillips and 11 Department of Naval Services folders containing documents relating to the operation of the naval stores dating from 1917-1922. as well as photocopies of correspondence between George Phillips, V. Stefansson, Mrs. R.M. Anderson, Mrs. Murray, and G.J. Desbarats dating from 1913 to 1915.
Fonds also includes miscellaneous ephemeral related to the Royal Canadian Navy including two issues of "The Naval Volunteer" Magazine dating to December 1915 and January 1916, a Royal Naval Club, Esquimalt account book dating from October 1896 to 31 October 1911, a small painting of HMS Shearwater c. 1911, a pencil drawing of a fireplace with specs c. 1931, a handwritten letter in envelope dated 1912, and a Seattle press club visitor's card for Mr. G. Phillips.
Also includes a small booklet containing information about Canadian Pacific Steamships and a passenger list for the Empress of Scotland sailing from Quebec to Cherbourg and Southampton Wednesday 18 July 1928 as well as a diner menu for Tuesday 24 July 1928 and a lunch menu for Wednesday 25 July 1928. The menus are postcards on the reverse and were collected as souvenirs of a voyage taken by Miss J. Phillips.
Phillips, GeorgeFonds consists of correspondence from Rear-Admiral H.F. Stephenson (Royal Navy Pacific Station) to Lt. Col. G.A.L. Rawstorne relating to mine recommendations by the Admiralty and a reply containing a detailed report and chart with sections contributed by Captain G.E. Barnes and Lt. Poole, Royal Marine Artillery. Chart is of the mouth of Esquimalt Harbour.
Fonds also includes Barnes' photographs of Victoria and Esquimalt area and a mock battle in Beacon Hill Park (Victoria).
Fonds consists of documents relating to DGS William J. Stewart including a radio inspection certificated dated 8 April 1975, an inspection certificate dated 29 January 1971, a principal particulars list, a general arrangement plan drawn by Collingwood Shipyards Limited, and a certificate of British Registry (cancelled) dated 28 April 1932.
Fonds also includes a collection of scanned slides of Canadian Coast Guard Vessels from the 1960s to 1980s.
Canadian Coast GuardFonds consists of a journal and remark book kept by engineering lieutenant F.E.P. Haigh on HMS Warspite during the period of 28 March 1899 to 11 June 1902, including clippings, photos, and memorabilia.
Also includes a handwritten manuscript for the Christmas Pantomime "Robinson Crusoe or The Tail of a Treasure" performed at the Theatre Royal, Naval Yard, Esquimalt, and written and produced bu the gunroom officers of HMS Warspite.
