Also includes a souvenir programme of the presentation of the King's Colours to the Royal Canadian Navy Western Command by HM King George VI, May 30, 1939.

Fonds relate to voyages between 1892 and 1908 and includes items such as wages for seal skins, itemized list of purchases for sealing trips, sailor's union pamphlet, correspondence, and grocery lists.
Also includes records from Victoria Sealing Company showing Grant's earnings in five schooners between 1900 and 1907 including, Director from December 1900 to October 1901; Triumph from December 1901 to September 1902; C.G. Cox from February to June 1907; Dora Sieward from June to November 1907; and Giblie (sp?) from January to October 1908. And, includes document dated 12 September 12 1892 on Marvin Company letterhead recoding a voyage of the schooner EB Marvin and showing wages, allowance for skins taken, and deductions for items purchased on board such as clothing and tobacco. This document shows that over a period of 8 months and 8 days Grant earned $410 but was charged $174.85 for purchases, for net earnings of $235.15. There is also a document in Russian dated 30 September 1905 showing that Grant, while a mate in the sealing schooner, Khokus Maru was arrested by the 199th Svir Regiment.

Fonds consists of 2 private journals compiled by to G.H. Inskip. The first was created between 16 October 1846 and 6 May 1848 during a survey of the Australian Coast in H.M.S. Rattlesnake. The second, created between 4 January 1856 and 26 January 1859, records a voyage out to the Indian Ocean in the steamer Pera followed by surveys carried out on the coast of Siam (now Thailand) and includes descriptions of Bangkok and a number of Siamese court officials.
Sans titreFonds consists of assorted passenger lists, guest lists, postcards, correspondence, and invitations relating primarily to voyages to and from Manila, dating from 1921 and 1930 to 1938. There are also two United States Philippine Islands passports issued in 1931 and 1934 to Ina Elizabeth Olnick (born in Chicago 25 November 1899), accompanied by children: Benjamin S., Jr., Van M., and Barbara Lucille. The letters numbered 0010 and 0011 survived the bombing of Manila in World War II and were brought by the donor's father to Seattle in 1945 after his internment by the Japanese at Santo Tomas University, Manila, Philippine Islands, from 1942 to 1945. Also, a framed souvenir coloured drawing of the Canadian Pacific Steamship Empress of Japan.
