Fonds consists of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police booklet titled "Reports and Other Papers Relating to the Two Voyages of the R.C.M. Police Schooner "St. Roch" Through the North West Passage", detailing the voyage from Vancouver, British Columbia to Sydney, Nova Scotia from 1940 to 1942, and from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1944.

Fonds also includes a calling card for Inspector E.J. Lucas, RCMP.

Grant Fonds

The fonds consists of Grant's papers as able seaman and hunter in sealing vessels operating out of Victoria, British Columbia and out of Japan. Fonds relate to voyages between 1892 and 1908 and includes items such as wages for seal skins, itemized list of purchases for sealing trips, sailor's union pamphlet, correspondence, and grocery lists.

Also includes records from Victoria Sealing Company showing Grant's earnings in five schooners between 1900 and 1907 including, Director from December 1900 to October 1901; Triumph from December 1901 to September 1902; C.G. Cox from February to June 1907; Dora Sieward from June to November 1907; and Giblie (sp?) from January to October 1908. And, includes document dated 12 September 12 1892 on Marvin Company letterhead recoding a voyage of the schooner EB Marvin and showing wages, allowance for skins taken, and deductions for items purchased on board such as clothing and tobacco. This document shows that over a period of 8 months and 8 days Grant earned $410 but was charged $174.85 for purchases, for net earnings of $235.15. There is also a document in Russian dated 30 September 1905 showing that Grant, while a mate in the sealing schooner, Khokus Maru was arrested by the 199th Svir Regiment.

Fonds consists of a booklet titled "A Short History and Fleet List of the Canadian Pacific Ocean Steamships 1891-1961" by George Musk, in association with the World Ship Society. There are 8 pages from "Our Women's World" magazine March 1962 slipped into back cover.

Fonds also includes a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, and photographs relating to various vessels dating from 1948 to 1966 and 7 Canadian Pacific passenger lists dating from June to August 1955.

Fonds also includes newspaper clippings, a postcard, and a schedule regarding SS Princess Charlotte and CPR rail travel.
