Fonds consists of certificates of service with handwritten comments by the captains of a number of vessels including HMCS Rainbow and HMCS Niobe dating from 1913 to 1940. Also includes a collection of photographs mainly of ships but also of officers, parties, and drills. One photograph is of C.H. Brown receiving O.B.E. decoration. Also includes a souvenir programme of the presentation of the King's Colours to the Royal Canadian Navy Western Command by HM King George VI, May 30, 1939.

As well as an empty Sperry Gyroscope Company Limited folder, assorted personal and professional documents from Captain Fenton relating primarily to the sale and royalties of his book, assorted Canadian Pacific Steamship ephemera including dinner menus, wine list, pencil drawings, correspondence, receipts, and a memorandum of understanding dating from 1934 to 1939 and 1950 to 1955.

Fonds also includes programmes for the Commemoration Service of the Battle of the Atlantic from 1956, 1957, and 1970, a Christmas card from Robin Hayward to Commander Little featuring a copy of a photograph of the HMCS Algonquin, and an extract from a report on the proceedings of HMC Skeena and Saquenay at the Coronation of His Majesty King George VI, 4 June 1937.

Fonds consists of documents relating to HMCS Skeena including A station card and a card containing the names of personnel from her maiden voyage from Portland, England to Esquimalt, British Columbia 25 June 1931 and a handmade booklet titled "Crossing the Line: HMCS Skeena: 4th February 1938" containing crossing the line ceremony procedures. The front cover is hand-drawn and E.R. Nutter's signature is on the front in green ink.

Fonds also includes a magazine titled "Programme of the Coronation Review of the Fleet by His Majesty the King" dated 20 May 1937 and published under the authority of the Portsmouth Navy Week Committee, a programme for "The Royal Canadian Navy presents Meet the Navy" published by the Directorate of Special Services, and a March 1940 issue of "Bos'n's call" magazine published by HMS Naden.
