Fonds consists of three black and white photographs, one of which is of RMS Colburn, and a newspaper clipping with an image of Captain J.H. Hubley, O.B.E. who was a member of the Canadian Merchant Marines, and who guided his ship, RMS Colburn, through the evacuations of Penang and Singapore under constant attack.

Fonds consists of 3 photographs, 2 framed, of the Princess Charlotte, Princess Kathleen, and Princess Victoria ships. The photographs were owned by the donor's father, Captain Jeffrey Hannay, who worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1950s.

Also includes a fourth photograph of an unnamed sailor, a Canadian Merchant Marine identification card for Jeffrey Hannay containing stamps dating from 1941 to 1946, two green journals containing notes and measurements, and a gyro compass instruction manual published August 1942.

Fonds consists of photographs, photographs cut out of newspapers and magazines, a continuous certificate of discharge, a certificate as fourth class engineer, an identity certificate, and assorted correspondence related to the service of Floyd Norman Vangen dating from 1940 to 1949.

Also includes a framed certificate of competency as second class engineer dated 1956 and, taped to the reverse side of the frame, a certificate of competency as third class engineer dated 1952.

Also includes a souvenir photobook of travel from Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Skagway, Alaska, assorted black and white photographs, unidentified but probably also of the NorthWest coast, and several postcards.

4. Green binder containing issues of “From the Bridge: Journal of the Company of Master Mariners of Canada” (primarily longer journals of 10 to 15 pages) dating from 1988 to 1999.

There are also 2 loose pieces of paper, signed nomination forms dating to 1975 and 1977, slipped into the first page.
10. Black binder containing lists of national secretaries and national masters dating from 1976 to 2009, a dues procedures draft dating to 2009, and 2009-2012 strategic plan. Also, guidelines for cadet membership document, blaw recommendation revisions dating to 7 December 2004, and an agenda and minutes of the national council meeting dating to 2009. Slipped into front sleeve is a copy of the bylaws of the CMMC as amended 20 November 2008 and a record of amendments with dates and page numbers.
11. Black vertical binder containing an assortment of meeting notes/reports/minutes, correspondence, articles, newsletters dating primarily to the 1970s but at least one meeting report and one newsletter dating to 1991.

Loose in the front of the binder is the Canadian Merchant Navy Association Newsletter, “The Red Duster” dating to July 1998, a copy of Bill C-61 dating to 2 December 1998, a Canadian Merchant Navy Prisoner of War Association document titled “Testimony to the Standing Committee of National Defence and Veterans Affairs” dating to November 5, 1998, a bound document titled “Memorandum to All Merchant Navy Veterans” assembled by H.
