Slipped inside the back of the first book is a certificate issued by the general register and record office of shipping and seamen dated 15 January 1919, listing the vessels on which C. Bonner served from 1916 to 1918.

Also includes a certificate of competency first class engineer (steamship) for Clarence J. Bonner no. 60423 dated 10 September 1924 and a photocopy of a scroll/monument awarded to Clarence J. Bonner by Canadian Pacific Railway Company for his service during World War I.

Fonds consists of documents relating to HMCS Skeena including A station card and a card containing the names of personnel from her maiden voyage from Portland, England to Esquimalt, British Columbia 25 June 1931 and a handmade booklet titled "Crossing the Line: HMCS Skeena: 4th February 1938" containing crossing the line ceremony procedures. The front cover is hand-drawn and E.R. Nutter's signature is on the front in green ink.

Fonds also includes a magazine titled "Programme of the Coronation Review of the Fleet by His Majesty the King" dated 20 May 1937 and published under the authority of the Portsmouth Navy Week Committee, a programme for "The Royal Canadian Navy presents Meet the Navy" published by the Directorate of Special Services, and a March 1940 issue of "Bos'n's call" magazine published by HMS Naden.

Fonds includes two Department of Naval Services inspection reports for HMC Dockyards, Halifax and Esquimalt prepared by George Phillips and 11 Department of Naval Services folders containing documents relating to the operation of the naval stores dating from 1917-1922. as well as photocopies of correspondence between George Phillips, V. Stefansson, Mrs. R.M. Anderson, Mrs. Murray, and G.J. Desbarats dating from 1913 to 1915.

Fonds also includes miscellaneous ephemeral related to the Royal Canadian Navy including two issues of "The Naval Volunteer" Magazine dating to December 1915 and January 1916, a Royal Naval Club, Esquimalt account book dating from October 1896 to 31 October 1911, a small painting of HMS Shearwater c. 1911, a pencil drawing of a fireplace with specs c. 1931, a handwritten letter in envelope dated 1912, and a Seattle press club visitor's card for Mr. G. Phillips.

Also includes a small booklet containing information about Canadian Pacific Steamships and a passenger list for the Empress of Scotland sailing from Quebec to Cherbourg and Southampton Wednesday 18 July 1928 as well as a diner menu for Tuesday 24 July 1928 and a lunch menu for Wednesday 25 July 1928. The menus are postcards on the reverse and were collected as souvenirs of a voyage taken by Miss J. Phillips.
