Fonds consists of a DVD titled "Freedom of Aberfeldy", a recruiting film made by the U.K. Ministry of Information in 1941 featuring three servicemen, a Canadian, an Australian, and a New Zealander in Scotland while in service during WWII. The Canadian featured in the video was named Gordon Bolin and he died as a result of HMCS Teme being torpedoed by a German U-boat in 1945.
Fonds consists of a photocopy of a manuscript titled "Second World War Notes" written by Captain R.H. Chicken, RCN, retired. (The original book is at CFB Esquimalt, Naval & Military Museum).
Also includes two naval cartoons that came from the collection of Captain Chicken, R.C.N. from his 1960 50th anniversary Royal Canadian Navy file. They are hand drawn in ink and pencil on mat board.
