This series of photos show the underwater body of a ship in a drydock that appears to be in for barnacle removal. The focus is on the barnacles that cover the hull, with the photos showing different parts of the underwater body. There are a couple of photos that show the propellers, which also have some barnacles on them along with some bent pieces. It is possible to see a wooden beam between the underwater body and the rest of the hull at midship. In one photo it is possible to see an open cargo gangway door.

The instructions and manuals in this series covers a wide range of machinery that was a part of the ship. For example the Maintenance Instruction Books and Winding Details provides an index of all the maintenance instructions for more than 22 machines including searchlights, loudaphones, portable vacuum cleaner, lift motors, turning motor, etc. The items in this series are clearly labeled or were in an envelope that was labelled with other Princess Marguerite items.

There are 2 paper technical drawings, and the rest are on drafting linen. Writing and other markings are done in pencil, coloured pencil and marker. There are also some holes and fading in some areas from wear. These plans are stamped by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd. and are signed and dated.

This series of 6 photos show different stages of the use of the evacuation slide. They show: the slide being inflated, the slide almost completely inflated with the landing pad being inflated, people going down the slide, the inflation of the covered life rafts, people in the life rafts. In all of these photos there is a crowd on the deck with some people wearing life jackets watching the proceedings. Docked next to the ship is the “Prince George”.
