Penning, C.Fonds consists of photographs and documents related to the life and career of Captain Ron Newell who served as Victoria's Harbour Master from the 1940s to 1971, including documents related the sinking of a ship he was on as a teenager and his subsequent journey by lifeboat to safety, his work on Merchant Marine vessels, and photographs of various ships.
Newell, Captain RonFonds consists of an undated diagram/plan showing gun sights and mounting, a diagram showing the production of fuze hacs, and a document containing diagrams/drawings describing different types of firearms.
Also includes a document describing the executive organization of HMCS Uganda and a collection of seamanship examination questions.
Hooser, D.R.Fonds consists of a pocket size ship plan showing the profile and general arrangement of Transport Ferries by Yarrows Limited and assorted photographs of various vessels including Canadian Coast Guard ships, mechanical equipment, and ships parts.

Stewart including a radio inspection certificated dated 8 April 1975, an inspection certificate dated 29 January 1971, a principal particulars list, a general arrangement plan drawn by Collingwood Shipyards Limited, and a certificate of British Registry (cancelled) dated 28 April 1932.
Fonds also includes a collection of scanned slides of Canadian Coast Guard Vessels from the 1960s to 1980s.

Also includes various training notebooks including daily exercises, know your ship, rifle drills, weapons department organization, D/C analog computers, and instructions and parts breakdown for torque trip unit.
Also includes technical reports, charts, drawings, and diagrams, gunner tests, conversion tables, technical procedures, etc. dating from 1962 and 1963.
Slater, J.K.The fonds consists of records retrieved and acquired by John Clarkson. The series of ship plans were acquired while he served as the Nautical Inspector for Transport Canada. These would have been used to help with the inspection of the ships. The correspondence series was retrieved by John Clarkson while he served as the marine examiner and surveyor in Victoria. The correspondence was originally from the Steamship Inspectors Office and contains different forms of correspondence regarding the surveys and inspections of ship that were requisitioned for the second world war before and after. These pertain to the inspection of different vessels that were active along the west coast.
