Also includes a ship plan reproduction for the HMS Wilde Goose, designed by John Lambert for Yarrow & company in the UK. FAlso contains periodicals, Seaports and the World, and blueprints built by Harbour Marine Co. Ltd. Also contains plans and drawings.

2. Chapter 109 of the Naval Discipline Act of 1866, printed in accordance with Naval Discipline (no. 2) Act, 1915.
3. A naval stores record book, shipbuilder's account, kept by Thos. Strickland, 1810.

Fonds consists of photocopies of records relating to the career of John Allan Williams during service in sternwheelers and steam tugs on B.C. Lakes for C.P.R. during the period of 1918 to 1931.

1. Transcript from the manuscript pages of a narrative written by John Allan Williams, describing his family history and his career with the Canadian Pacific Railway British Columbia Lake and River Service beginning in 1918

2. Photocopied pages of a notebook maintained by John Allan Williams during his period of employment in various steamboats from 1923 to 1931 with particular senior officers of vessels and vessel statistics

3. Photocopies of letters of reference from the period 1918 to 1931.

Fonds consists of documents relating to the professional life of William White including records of his service as ship’s steward’s boy starting in 1854 aboard HMS Lyra serving in East Africa and records of his service on HMS Scout from 1870 to 1875 while stationed in Esquimalt.

Also includes records pf his service on HMS Cumberland, Medusa, Agincourt, Revenge, Wizard, and Hibernia including letters of recommendations from captains, a shipping list from the Hudson’s Bay Company in 1872, a British Columbia license to sell and retail trader, a personal letter from a captain to White’s mother, and two certificates of De Lessepps’ Panama Canal dating to 1893.

Also includes several photographs of White, including one with his wife and 10 children in 1902.
