Fonds consists of pages from "The Ocean Chronicle" newspaper/newsletter dating to 9 October 1883 and 26 February 1884, published by E.P. Nichols, at sea, on board the ship Frank Pendleton. Pages were collected by donor's grandfather, Mr. H.E. Willby, while on route to North America from Portugal.
