Fonds consists of principal dimension sheets for ships built by Barrow Shipbuilding Company dating from 1883 to 1886. These plans are the work of James S. Clark, naval architect, born in the U.K. who worked for Barrow Shipbuilding, Mitsukiski Shipbuilding (Japan), and finally Victoria Machinery Depot.
