Fonds consists of a certificate issued by the Royal Canadian Navy in recognition of the outstanding, meritorious, and distinguished services rendered to his fellow shipmates of Charles Claire, commissioned shipwright, R.C.N., and in recognition of his election as a life member of the chief and petty officers mess, MHCS Chatham, dated 19 June 1944.
