Fonds consists of a copy of three of Lord Horatio Nelson's signatures, before and after the loss of his right arm collected by H.L. Cadieux. Signatures are on the back of a wood frame and are dated 1786, 1797, and 1802.

And, a booklet titled "Funnel Markings B.C. Coastal Shipping Companies" containing hand illustrated listings of the markings of various British Columbia vessels.

Fonds consists of two photocopies of a letter concerning the transfer of the Bamfield to Fanning Island section to the Pacific Cable Board. The transfer is addressed to G. McLachlan, superintendent, Bamfield and is signed by A. Dearlove for Garth Forde & Taylor, dated 17 November 1902.

Fonds consists of principal dimension sheets for ships built by Barrow Shipbuilding Company dating from 1883 to 1886. These plans are the work of James S. Clark, naval architect, born in the U.K. who worked for Barrow Shipbuilding, Mitsukiski Shipbuilding (Japan), and finally Victoria Machinery Depot.
