              Fonds consists of a journal and remark book kept by engineering lieutenant F.E.P. Haigh on HMS Warspite during the period of 28 March 1899 to 11 June 1902, including clippings, photos, and memorabilia.

              Also includes a handwritten manuscript for the Christmas Pantomime "Robinson Crusoe or The Tail of a Treasure" performed at the Theatre Royal, Naval Yard, Esquimalt, and written and produced bu the gunroom officers of HMS Warspite.

              • Certificate from William B. Pauli, consul of his British Majesty in Buenos Aires to Charles Edward Stewart, dated 26 October 1882, entirely in Spanish,
              • Two handwritten letters dated 18 July and 22 July 1814, signed by W. Steward, HMS San Josef addressed to captain John Phillips, RN and my brother which begins by saying “The French fleet are now in sight” and lists how Stewart wished his property to be divided equally between his son and daughter and enumerating how he wished various effects divided and debts owed to his Coxswain and servant,
              • Commissioning certificate appointing Lieutenant William Stewart as lieutenant of HMS Royal William, dated 15 may 1797,
              • Commissioning certificate appointing William Stewart as commander of HMS [?], dated May 1810.

              Fonds consists of the personal and professional papers of Harold C. Saunders relating to his naval career including a certificate of indenture and correspondence dating to the 1880s and pilotage certificates, pilotage exemption certificates, and permits dating from 1914 to 1917.

              Also includes documents and correspondence relating to his his World War I service including newspaper clippings, and documents specifically relating to his time as a prisoner of war in the Karlsruhe POW camp in Germany in 1918.

              Also includes correspondence between the Canadian Government Merchant Marine Limited, dating to 1922.

              Fonds also includes black and white travel photographs of the South Pacific including Sidney, Australia, Malta, Singapore, ect., and three photo albums of travel photographs and photographs of various vessels. One photo is dated 1894, others are dated from 1903 to 1913.

              Fonds consists of the black, leather diary of E.A. Morris, father of the donors. The diary is divided into three trips, London to New York on Board the Steamship Danmark from 11 April to 28 April 1877, New York to San Fransisco by train from 28 April to 10 May 1877, and San Fransisco to Cassiar Mines via Victoria, BC on board the City of Panama from 19 May to 16 June 1877. There are also, additional notes up to 1886. Slipped inside the diary is a card for the National Steamship Company, Limited with a plan of the cabin of the steamship Denmark.

              A newspaper clipping dated 1956 containing an article detailing the history of the Victoria Cross from the Crimean War to the present and a newspaper clipping from the back of a calendar describing SS Beaver off Fort Victoria in 1846.

              A book titled "The Pullen Records" consisting of photocopies of various records. The records consist generally of a number of historical records of HM Ships in the Arctic compiled by H.F. Pullen in 1954. Specifically included is the log book of T.C. Pullen, Royal Navy, from HMS Cambria and HMS North Star, extracts of T.C. Pullen's journals kept while master of HMS North Star in the 1850s, an extract from the admiralty board of inquiry where T.C. Pullen was a witness, a monthly meteorological report from September 1852 to April 1854, extracts of naval messages and correspondence, a map of the routes taken by W.J.S. Pullen from 1849 to 1851 in the Arctic, an account of the search for the Franklin expedition, and general notes of the life of Vice-Admiral W.J.S. Pullen.

              Log book kept by Commander William J.S. Pullen from the HMS Falcon in 1855 and HMS Cyclops dating from 1857 to 1860. Also, a newspaper clipping of the obituary of Vice-Admiral William J.S. Pullen, describing his accomplishments with the South Australia Company, in the Bay of Fundy, on an expedition in search of Sir John Franklin, and commanding HMS North Star in Sir E. Belcher's Arctic expedition, among others. Includes a section titled "Remarks HM Steam Sloop Salem" describing angorages in the Baltic in 1855, a section titled “Journal of Proceedings HMS Steam Frigate Cyclops on Voyage to the Red Sea for the purpose of Sounding for the bed of electric cable” which consists of a narattive ending with ships about to be docked at Bombay in April 1860, and a section titled “A Few Remarks on the Chart of Bomany Harbour with no name as to its maker” .
