              Fonds consists of a Sons of the Sea initiation certificate for M/V Moveria dated 8 October 1935, and 7 photo albums consisting of photographs of vessels organized into the categories naval vessels, fishing vessels, passenger and freight vessels, ferries and government vessels, tugs, and dockyards around Vancouver Island. Also included are 47 loose album pages.

              Fonds also includes an oak box contains mostly photographs from 1963 to 1967 of ships in Victoria. There are a mix of naval vessels, coast guard ships, and various vessels in local shipyards, including Island Tug and Barge.

              Fonds consists of newspaper/magazine clippings, undated, relating to the torpedoing of SS Fort Camosun by Japanese submarines, the arrival of RMS Queen Elizabeth at Esquimalt Graving docks 23 February 1942, and the shelling of Estevan Point lighthouse, Victoria, by Japanese submarine I-26, 20 June 1942.

              Also includes a book commemorating HMCS Skeena's first year in commission, compiled and edited by Lieutenant-Commander F.L. Houghton, R.C.N. Consists of a chronological account of the ship's activities during the period 10 June 1931 to 10 June 1932.

              Fonds consists of a typed letter addressed to Rear Admiral E.W. Finch-Noyes recounting the writer's experience of the near sinking of the HMCS Grilse in 1916 and a newspaper clipping from 1916 that states that Grilse and all men are believed to be lost.

              Also includes commissioning booklets of HMCS Saquenay, Skeena, Margaree, and Chaudiere, dating from 1956, 1957, and 1959, and a programme for the presentation of the Queen's Colour to the Royal Canadian Navy by Her Majesty the Queen in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Saturday 1 August 1959.
