              Fonds consists of a letter written by master George Hawker to his mother and father, Captain Hawker, R.N., dated Nice, 19 March 1927.

              Also includes a postcard with an image of HMS Warrior, assorted pamphlets, booklets, and brochures, regarding maritime history and tourism around Canada and the United Kingdom, and a specification sheet for ITM Venturer.

              HMCS Patrician Collection

              Fonds consists of a collection of engine room registers from HMCS Patrician dating from 1920 to 1927. Each book consists of daily entries signed by the engineer officer, covering approximately three months. The books appear to of Royal Navy or Imperial origin most recently re-issued in December 1916 intended for “Torpedo Boats, Torpedo Boat Destroyers, and Special Ships” and the printed instructions in front are identified as issued by the Department of the Naval Service 1916. Each book also includes pages at the front for recording the names of the engineering complement and pages at the back for recording boiler examinations, repairs, etc.

              Collection of poems titled "Destroyer Ditties 1939" written and/or collected by crew of HMCS Saguenay, spring 1939.

              Poem titled "Percy", by William woods, c. 1935 to leading seaman Percy Swatman when they were both serving on HMCS Vancouver. Swatman became a petty officer a few years later and died of a heart attack in the mid-1960s.
