She re-entered transatlantic service in 1946, was taken out of service in 1969, and was burned at Hong Kong while being converted to a floating university in 1972 and scrapped.

After 1928, she operated from London and Southampton and, in 1931, she was taken out of service 1931. She was scrapped in 1933.
